days like crazy paving
my blog title is a doctor who reference, not just because I’m a massive nerd, but because the quote in question is one I relate to. here it is in full:
think about me when you’re living your life one day after another, all in a neat pattern;
think about the homeless traveller in his old police box, his days like crazy paving.
my life hasn’t been lived in a particularly neat pattern. not saying I’m a time lord (though I’m not saying I’m not a time lord), just that the doctor is kind of my patronus. (well, one of them. the other one is malcolm tucker. if you follow me on twitter, you know why.)
a lawful evil social justice crusader and intersectionalist attack dog for hire. I blog about social justice, human rights, my faith and sometimes just my life. warning: high levels of sarcasm within. it’s how I deal.
the people’s republic of jaythenerdkid, despite the name, is not a democracy. comments are moderated, and I offer no guarantees that they will be published. in particular, comments containing bigoted or abusive language will be deleted before they ever see the light of day. I also reserve the right not to publish comments that are insulting, comments that show you clearly didn’t read my post, or comments I just don’t feel like publishing. if this displeases you, see above about my blog not being a democracy.
comments are not a great way of getting in touch with me to ask if you can publish me; for more information about that, see here. if you’d just like to chat, you can reach me via twitter or facebook.
